HAS UKRC REACHED THE END OF THE ROAD?
Organisers claimed that that there would be some 3000 delegates, but reports from industry has dismissed this as fantasy. Wide aisles with fewer exhibiting companies meant that the exhibition never looked busy with the possible exception of the first morning. Doubtless, as usual the UKRC organising committee will claim record attendance - but they never publish the figures!!! It's back to Manchester in 2011, presumably because of a contractual obligation or for the committee to save face. In short major UK conference venues are way beyond the means of UKRC and we say that it is time to move to a smaller more affordable venue and give the professions the conference and exhibition they deserve.
