Ramsay Healthcare has stolen a march on its rival mobile CT operators by being the first to install a 64 slice scanner on a mobile unit. The Siemens SOMATOM Defination AS will enable Ramsay to extend the range of examinations provided.

Xograph Healthcare has recently delivered a DRagon Direct Digital mobile X-ray unit to the medical centre at Huntercombe Young Offenders Prison, Oxfordshire, UK.  The DRagon uses a portable Canon CXDI-50C high DQE, single tile 35x43cm direct digital detector.

The VRCC in Essex one of the UK's leading veterinary oncology centres has installed the Konica Minolta Regius 110 System. Serving a wide community where it has built up an enviable reputation, VRCC is supported by continual investment at over four million pounds.

SAGA Cruises, the worldwide cruise line, has installed CR 360 Systems from Carestream Health in two of their cruise ships. MS SAGA Ruby, a medium-sized vessel, carries 661 passengers, while the smaller ‘MV Spirit of Adventure’ takes 352 passengers on special interest cruises. The Kodak CR 360 systems will replace the existing chemical-based processors in both ships’ on-board medical facilities
