Toshiba Upgrades the Xario

New Features on XG

Toshiba Medical Systems has upgraded its Xario ultrasound system with a comprehensive array of unique, clinically validated technologies.   Its full range of high-performance imaging functions offers visualisation of minute tissue details and vascular structures with precision, for a faster more accurate diagnosis.    Its transducers deliver superb quality and respond with excellent versatility to a wide range of applications.

The Xario XG features a new 19-inch LCD monitor with articulating arm and convenient handle, and comes with a bundle of software packages options, including Advanced Dynamic FlowTM, which accurately displays blood flow with directional information, even for tiny vessels, for improved diagnosis.   Toshiba’s ApliPure Plus, uses real-time spatial and frequency compounding technology to deliver outstandingly clear image quality and detail in all modes.

QuickScan optimises the image quality at a touch of the button to reduce scan time and to improve consistency and quality of scans, and Trapezoid imaging provides wide or expanded field-of-view imaging.

Also available with the new upgrade are 4D transducers for volume imaging.  Volume data sets capture the region-of-interest in a matter of seconds and 3D “virtual rescan” is possible in any plane of data volume set at any time, reducing the need for patient rescans.   It also allows visualisation of X, Y and Z axis with the ability to evaluate a volume slice by slice.

Compact and easy to manoeuvre, with the smallest footprint for a system in its class, the Xario XG brings premium technology to an affordable platform
